Contact the Editorial Desk
How to reach the editors of this independent review site, what we can answer, and how we handle corrections and complaints.
Costs at our featured brokerHow long will it take to hear back?
A reader recently wrote to ask why a fee example on our FXCM review page did not match the figure shown on the broker's own pricing page. That message reached the desk on a Tuesday morning and had a written reply by Thursday afternoon. That is the normal pattern: we read everything that arrives through the contact form on this site, and we aim to respond to substantive messages within three working days.
Simple questions about how a page was put together usually get a short answer within that window. Requests that need us to re-check figures against source documents take longer, because we go back to the primary material before replying. If a matter will take more than a week, we say so in a holding reply rather than leaving you without an answer.
We do not run a live chat or a telephone line. The contact form on this site is the only route into the desk, and it keeps a written record of every exchange, which matters when a correction is later disputed.
How do I submit a factual correction?
Use the contact form on this site and mark the message as a correction request. Tell us the page and the sentence you believe is wrong, what the correct position is, and where that position can be checked. A link to the broker's own document or a dated screenshot is enough; you do not need to write a formal submission.
We check every correction against the source before changing anything. If the point is confirmed, we amend the page and add a short note recording what changed and when. If we cannot confirm it, we explain why in our reply, and that explanation is kept on file.
We do not remove or soften accurate material because a reader disagrees with it. Corrections are for facts, not for opinions about the broker.
What will the editors actually answer?
We answer questions about our own work: how a review was researched, which documents we relied on, when a page was last checked, and why a particular conclusion was reached. We also answer questions about the scope of this site and about the limits of what an editorial review can tell you.
We do not answer questions about your own account, deposits, withdrawals, orders or disputes with the broker. We are not the broker, we are not affiliated with it, and we do not provide financial services or advice. Messages of that kind are redirected to the broker's own support channels, and we say clearly that we cannot act on them.
The desk reads and writes in English. Correspondence in English reaches the editors directly; material sent in another language may take longer while we arrange a reading.
How do I complain about this site?
If you believe a page is unfair, misleading or has breached a commitment we made about how we work, send the complaint through the contact form on this site and describe the specific passage. Complaints are handled separately from ordinary correspondence and are reviewed by an editor who did not write the page in question.
You will receive an acknowledgement, then a written outcome setting out what we found and what, if anything, we have changed. If we got something wrong, we say so on the page itself, not only in the reply.
We are an independent editorial resource. We are not regulated or licensed by any authority, and we are not endorsed by the broker or by anyone else. That is precisely why complaints go to the editors and are answered in writing.
